Country’s largest mosque to be built at Bashundhara

Managing Director of Bashundhara Group Sayem Sobhan Anvir and others offer prayers at the foundation laying ceremony of the country’s largest mosque at Bashundhara Residential Area in the capital on Friday.
The largest mosque of the country is being built at Bashundhara Residential Area, Baridhara, in the capital.Managing Director of Bashundhara Group Sayem Sobhan Anvir laid the foundation stone of the mosque on Friday morning. This is for the first time that such a large and majestic mosque is being constructed in the country.

The mosque will be built at Block ‘N’ of Bashundhara Residential Area, covering an area of 1.25 lakh square feet. Over one lakh devotees will be able to offer prayers at a time here.

Bashundhara Group’s Senior DMD Md Belayet Hossain, DMD Touhidul Islam, DMD Mustafizur Rahman, DMD (Engr.) Abul Kalam Shamim, Executive Director Imrul Hasan, Senior General Manager (Engr.) Nazmul Alam Bhuiyan, Senior General Manager Nazmul Haque, ED (AHR) Capt. (retd.) Sheikh Ehsan Reza and ED Shaheed Hasan were present at the foundation laying programme.
