Bashundhara Paper Mills Limited, a concern of Bashundhara Group (BG), is going to expand its business to boost export volume after meeting local demand, says a press release.
Mahaboob Morshed Hassan, chief adviser to the chairman of Bashundhara Group, said this at the opening day of Bashundhara Paper Mills Limited Dealers Conference 2013 held at Zastat Holiday Resort in Sylhet recently.
The management of Bashundhara Paper Mills Limited awarded 10 dealers for highest volume of paper sales and three dealers for selling only paper of this company.
Masudur Rahman, deputy general manager (M&S) Paper Products, Mirza Mujahidul Islam, DGM (Accounts & Finance) Paper Sector, and other officials of the company’s paper sector were present at the conference. Around two hundred dealers from across the country joined the conference.
Speaking as chief guest, Mahaboob Morshed Hassan said Bashundhara Paper Mills Ltd, one of the largest paper mills of Asia, is set to expand its capacity.
“If the company increases its products, it will be able to boost its export and play an important role in earning more foreign currencies,” he added.
He said Bashundhara Group has been hitting the market with essential products to meet up people’s fundamental needs. The company is working for the public welfare.
Mahbub Morshed Hasan thanked the dealers for selling the company’s products and urged them to increase their sale in future.
Masudur Rahman said the company is taking all necessary steps to keep production and marketing consistent with the demand.
